Inspired by the iconic dish from the equally iconic, ‘The Silver Palate Cookbook,’ this dish is giving serious 1980s fancy dinner party vibes and we are here. for. It. Like the era’s fashion choices, the flavors in this fab chicken dinner are bright and bold– masterfully mixing savory with sweet, buttery with briny.

In your bag

  • Chicken Marbella (2 bone-in chicken thighs) & jus
  • Tomato & garlic confit basmati rice
  • Lemon-brown butter cauliflower with capers

At home

  • 2 small casserole dishes OR a small casserole dish and a microwave-safe dish
  1. Preheat your oven to 350F.
  2. Arrange the chicken in a small casserole dish and pour the jus alllll over. Pop it into the oven for 12-15 minutes.
  3. Arrange rice and cauliflower side by side in a second casserole dish. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of water over the rice, then pop it into the oven to warm alongside the chicken. 
  4. Even Faster Option: Alternatively, you can transfer your rice and cauliflower to a microwave-safe dish, cover with a damp paper towel, and microwave for 2-3 minutes until hot & steamy!

Time to plate it up, party peeps! Spoonful of rice goes down first, joined by your saucy chicken and buttery cauliflower. Hope every bite is marbella-ous!
