Crispy Chicken & Sesame Salad for Two

Not all salads can be dinner-worthy... but this one definitely is! This colorful & crispy salad features baby romaine lettuce, sesame noodle salad, mandarin oranges, pickled veggies (cucumbers, carrots, daikon) and our famous crispy fried chicken. Crispy chow mein noodles add a little crunch! Paired with our flavorful soy & sesame vinaigrette for drizzling on top.

In your bag

  • Baby romaine lettuce & sesame noodle salad
  • Mandarin orange segments, crispy chow mein noodles, pickled cucumber, carrots & daikon, and sesame dressing
  • Fried chicken breasts

At home

  • Lightly greased aluminum foil-lined sheet tray (optional)
  • Cutting board
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife or kitchen shears

The Fried Chicken:

  1. Heat up your chicken! 
  2. Option #1 (in the oven) Preheat oven to 375°F. Place your chicken on the lightly greased foil-lined sheet tray and pop it in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until hot & crisp.
  3. Option #2 (in the air fryer): Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Add your chicken and heat for 8-10 minutes, or until warmed to your liking.
  4. Once your chicken is ready, transfer to a cutting board and cut into strips or pieces. How big is up to you!

The Salad:

  1. Chop up your lettuce and add to a bowl. Use a knife or kitchen shears to cut sesame noodles into shorter, more manageable strands and add to the bowl as well.
  2. Toss in mandarin orange segments, crispy chow mein noodles, and pickled cucumbers, carrots & daikon.
  3. Drizzle your sesame dressing all over and toss until nicely coated. Season to taste with salt and pepper!
  4. Top with your tasty chicken :)
