Heirloom Tomato Tart

Forget pizza. This right here is the crust, cheese, tomato combo we need in our lives! The way the concentrated tomato jam plays against the tangy whipped feta… The texture contrast between the flaky, buttery puff pastry shell and the juicy bursts of roasted cherry tomato… It’s just a [chef’s kiss] work of art. Ok, ok, we take it back, we’ll never forget pizza. But this savory tart most definitely has a special place in our heart.

In your bag

  • Tomato tart shell with whipped feta & tomato jam
  • Roasted cherry tomatoes
  • Mixed greens with lemon vinaigrette
  • Herb-marinated salmon (if you ordered it!)

At home

  • Lightly greased aluminum foil-lined sheet tray
  • Mixing bowl

How to prep:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F
  2. Place the tart shell on one side of your foil-lined sheet tray, and place the roasted cherry tomatoes on the other.
  3. Pop the tray in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until warmed to your liking. 
  4. While your tart is warming up, add mixed greens to a bowl, drizzle vinaigrette over the top, and toss. 
  5. When your tart is ready, carefully remove from the oven and set on your plate. Add the cherry tomatoes right on top of your tart! Salad goes on the side. Now dig in!

The Salmon (if you ordered it!):

  1. Place the salmon on a lightly greased foil-lined sheet tray in a 350F oven. This can go in while your tart shell and tomatoes are warming up!
  2. Alternatively, add salmon to a microwave-safe dish, cover with a damp paper towel, and heat in 30 second intervals until heated to your liking.
  3. Slide the tray in the oven for 8-10 minutes, until the salmon is warmed through. Remove carefully. 
  4. Plate it up with your tart and salad and enjoy!
