Mei Mei Cheeseburger Dumpling Party

Mei Mei Cheeseburger Dumpling Party

Prep time: 5 minutes

It’s a party on a plate! Featuring Mei Mei’s signature Cheeseburger dumplings filled with pasture-raised beef, cabbage, onion, cheddar & American cheese. Served with baby gem lettuce, chopped dill pickle, sesame seeds, and WECO’s own secret sauce for drizzling all over.

In your bag

  • 8 cheeseburger dumplings from Mei Mei
  • WECO special sauce
  • Dill pickle chips
  • Baby gem lettuce
  • Black & white sesame seeds

At home

  • Saute pan with a fitted lid, a little oil, tongs or a spatula, and 2 tbsp water OR microwave-safe bowl and damp paper towel
  • Serving plate
  • Cutting board and knife

Microwave option:

  1. Add dumplings to a microwave-safe dish, cover with a damp paper towel, and microwave until heated to your liking.

Stovetop option:

  1. Set a saute pan over medium heat. Pour in a little oil and let it heat up for a minute or so.
  2. Add in dumplings and pan fry them for 1-2 minutes until warm, but keep an eye not to burn them!
  3. Once warmed to your liking, pour 2 tbsp of water into the pan and immediately cover with the lid. Let them steam for 2-3 minutes or until the water has evaporated and the dumplings are hot. You can add another splash if you feel they need more time but again, keep an eye not to burn them!
  4. Once done, carefully move the pan off the burner and let it sit for a minute covered while you begin assembly.

To Assemble:

  1. Grab a spoon and spread some special sauce on the base of a serving plate. Use tongs or a spatula to carefully remove the dumplings from the pan & add them on top of the sauce.
  2. Use a cutting board & knife to chop pickles into small pieces. Chop or tear your lettuce into bite-sized pieces and arrange on the plate with the dumplings. It should look like a salad!
  3. Sprinkle on chopped pickles and sesame seeds. Dollop any extra sauce on top if you’d like. Dig in!
That’s it! #Dinnersolved, dinner served.
