Torched Salmon & Avocado Rice Bowl

Prep time: 8-10 minutes oven or 2-3 minutes microwave

Ever since the menu dropped, we've been counting down the days until torched salmon & avocado time. The caramelization on the salmon & smokiness of the avocado can’t be beat. The short grain sushi rice pairs perfectly with the slightly sweet, acidic slaw and sticky soy glaze. Enjoy :)

In your bag

  • Salmon, avocado, rice, and apple & daikon slaw
  • Sticky soy glaze

At home

  • Aluminum foil-lined sheet tray & a little oil
  • Microwave-safe dish

How to prep:

  1. Salmon: Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly brush some oil over your foil-lined sheet tray, place salmon on top, and pour the glaze all over. Heat in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until warmed through to your liking.  
  2. Alternatively, add to a microwave-safe dish, cover with a damp paper towel, and microwave until warmed to your liking!
  3. Sushi rice: Add rice to a microwave-safe dish, add a splash of water, and cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave until warmed to your liking.
  4. Avocado and slaw: Best served cold!
