Braised Beef + Barley

Beef, barley, baby broccoli, bomb mushies, and balsamic. Oh, and tomatoes! Bringing brightness into your Tuesday—and even though we’re using a lot of B’s, this dish is A+! For seasonings in this beef, you’ll taste thyme, fennel, and coriander. Of course there’s a little dijon in there as well, for some tanginess. In the barley we added basil for flavor, for the sole reason that it’s an herb that starts with “B!” Wait— you don’t create your recipes based on alliteration? Just kidding! Mushroom varieties in this bowl include maitake, oyster, and shimeji mushrooms…good things come in threes, peeps 😉

Total prep time: 2 minutes

 

What’s in your bag:

  • Your bowl
  • Balsamic vinaigrette

What you’ll need from home:

  • Nothing!

How to prep:

  1. Remove the ramekin of balsamic vinaigrette.
  2. Pop the whole darn thing in the microwave for 2 minutes.
  3. Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette everywhere.
  4. Have a wonderful Wednesday evening 🙂
