Burrata + Barley Bowl

It’s finally starting to feel like fall, so we’re starting our week off with a bowl that just tastes like fall. Cranberry, leeks and burrata is the combo you didn’t know you needed. You will though, in about 2 minutes. Our grain du jour is barley. With all the buzz around quinoa and farro these days sometimes barley is overlooked and we didn’t want it to feel left out. Also, it starts with a B, which is helpful alliteration with burrata. But mostly it just tastes good, which is the real reason we’ve chosen it to be the base of your dinner tonight. All in all, grainy grains + beautiful burrata = one happy Monday night. Let’s have one.

Total prep time: 2 minutes

What’s in your bag:

  • A big bowl of seasonal yumminness 
  • Burrata

What you’ll need from home:

  • Nada.

How to prep:

  1. Remove the burrata.
  2. Pop the bowl into the microwave for about 2 minutes.
  3. Plop the gooey heavenly burrata on top.
