Presenting… (drumroll please!) the lesser known but equally as delicious sibling of steak + pita: Chicken + pita!!!! Our steak + pita is an absolute Fam fave, but we’re so glad you’re here tonight to meet this tantalizingly spiced chicken sando twist. You’ll taste some cumin, caraway, paprika, garlic, lemon zest, and even some pomegranate molasses. All of these flavors absolutely POP when matched with a bite of hummus and perfectly paired pomegranate labneh. We’ve got lots of love for labneh here at WECO. LOTS. What’s in your bag:
- Mediterranean spiced shaved chicken with peppers + onions
- Roasted beet hummus
- Sumac + pomegranate labneh
- Orzo with Persian cukes, fava beans, pomegranate seeds + feta
- Pita bread! (exclamation point here because we love pita bread hehe)
What you’ll need from home:
- Sheet tray with aluminum foil
- Olive oil
Total prep time: 10 minutes
The Chicken + Pita
- Preheat your oven to 375F.
- Drizzle a little bit of olive oil onto your foil-lined sheet tray and place the chicken on the tray.
- Heat for around 5-7 minutes and then carefully remove from the oven.
- Toss your pita on there, and then toss the tray back in the oven for 5 more minutes!
