Farmer’s Bowl

Do you ever wonder what farmers actually eat? We certainly do. It’s a mystery. They might not even eat at all. Odds are, they plant themselves in their fields at night, and absorb nutrients from the soil. That would make sense. They are probably more veggie than person. That’s why the veggies taste so good. They are grown by veggie people.

So, farmers are actually people, just people who eat lots of veggies. But if you are what you eat… Oh man, we’re going in circles here. ANYWAY, we have a nice bounty of roasted summer veggies for you tonight – all tossed in honey, aleppo, chives, olive oil, and good sea salt. Plated up over a wild rice + grain salad with preserved lemon, arugula + sundried tomatoes. Yummy! We would recommend eating this one cold, but if you’re feeling like a warm bowl, just pop it in the microwave for a few minutes to take the chill off! Enjoy!

If you got braised chicken thighs with sundried tomato:

We are with you – so tempting, right?   These thighs are the real deal. Our aromatic braise turns chicken into tender bundles of joy – just broil them until they are crispy on top, and nice and hot inside. Arrange the thigh(s) on a sheet tray lined with aluminum foil, and broil on low for 7-10 minutes, till caramelized and heated through. Alternatively, you can microwave, but broiling is definitely recommended – the crispy skin makes it. Once it’s hot, plate it up on top of your bowl! That’s it. Beautiful. Enjoy!

CHEF MATT IS NOT A VEGETABLE:

CHEF MATT IS NOT A VEGETABLE. YOU CANNOT EAT HIM. IF YOU EAT HIM, YOU WILL NOT HAVE A CHEF MATT ANYMORE THAT WOULD BE BAD. PLEASE DO NOT EAT CHEF MATT.
