Ginger Marinated Tofu with Sticky Rice

Unlike jasmine or basmati rice, sticky rice has different starch levels that cause the rice grains to stick together, hence the name, “sticky rice!” It can also be called glutinous or sweet rice, but is gluten free- the glutinous name pertains to the chewiness. It’s a really awesome change-of-pace to other grains with its slight sweetness, topped with crispy tofu, charred tomatoes, and swiss chard. There’s a time and place for each type of rice, and this bowl was destined for the sticky stuff! Here’s to sticky, never icky, yummy rice bowls!

P.S. We’re doin’ something a little different to spice up this week. Post a pic of dinner tonight with the hashtag #wecolove and tag @wecohospitality for a chance to have tonight’s bill *poof* disappear!
