Alright peeps, we’ve got a bowl with some kick coming in hot this Wednesday eve! Those thick, starchy noodles in your bowl are udon noodles. Made with wheat flour, they are considered to be a Japanese comfort food. Miso-roasted greens add that umami flavor—and if you’re unfamiliar with miso, it’s that fermented soybean paste used in miso soup! Marinated tofu packs in the protein for your gains, and the chili oil is the icing on the cake. Be gentle with it at first and test the spice levels, as everyone tolerates it differently! If you’d like, save a little chili oil for another day, it goes well in ramen noodle soup 🙂
Total prep time: 2-4 minutes
What’s in your bag:
- A big delicious bowl
- Chili garlic oil
What you’ll need from home:
- A fork.
How to prep:
- Remove the ramekin of oil and pop the entire bowl into the microwave for 2-3 minutes, until warm.
- Drizzle the chili oil to your liking, and enjoy!
That’s it! Dinner solved, dinner served. #weareWECO
