While we absolutely loooved the jerk chicken we had on the menu last July, the fact that our vegetarian Fam members were left out from the deliciousness made us feel kind of like, well… jerks!
And so with all the gorgeous gourds available right now it was more or less a… lightbulb moment! Hearty squash seasoned with a delicious jerk spice blend (featuring allspice, cloves, cumin and jalapeño), crunchy slaw, pineapple chutney, plantains, and cool chili lime yogurt over red beans and rice? What could be nicer?

What you’ll need from home:
How to prep:
- Remove the ramekin of chili lime yogurt.
- Put the whole bowl right in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or until warm.
- Dollop the yogurt all over, grab a fork and enjoy!
