Pasta Bake!

Reheating time: 10-15 minutes

Oh man, guys. Tonight’s reheating instructions are so simple, I’m really having kind of a crisis when it comes to figuring out how I’m going to fill up the page here. I guess I’ll probably do what I usually do, and just ramble until I am able to finally get my point across. So, here goes. Pasta bake. Sorry, Summer pasta bake. This is an idea that’s been brewing for a while- something so stupidly delicious that you literally only need to pop it in the oven. That’s it.  We’ve mixed it up, decorated it with herbed breadcrumbs, and placed it in a handy dandy foil container so that you can just remove the lid and bake till it’s hot. Penne pasta, balsamic and herb chicken, mozz balls, tomatoes, lots of basil, and roasted garlic bechamel. You really can’t go wrong. Especially topped off with some super simple herbed breadcrumbs, which are honestly my favorite part. But that’s not all- we also have a salad with Applefield farms mixed lettuces, and our housemade focaccia- which came out excellent today. Okay, I think that’s about it for me. Preheat that oven to 375, anf get ready for the easiest WECO reheating to date.

Get in there!

For the pasta bake:

OK super complicated. Just bare with me here. I will try to explain this as best as I can, but please, if you are confused, just shoot me an email. I know how hard these steps can be, and I just want to make sure that everyone is able to follow along here. I can also come to your house and show you. I really don’t mind. Ok here goes.

Step one- remove the lid. Believe it or not, plastic does not like to be heated in the oven! Trust me, I learned that the hard way. After several years of eating plastic, I’ve finally figured out that it’s bad for you- and I’m here to spread the word. Remove the lid!

Step two- put the uh, put it, put the thing, put the thing in the hot thing, the oven. Yeah. Put the thing in the oven. The whole thing, minus the plastic lid, goes right in the oven. Oh, sorry. Preheat the oven to 375. Then, put the whole thing in the oven. Pheuf. Almost choked there.

Step three- once it’s hot, take it out of the oven, and scoop onto a plate!

Step four- there is no step four. You already did it.

For the salad:

Almost as hard as the pasta bake, but not quite. Just pay attention! OK SO: leaves, they go in a bowl. Dressing, goes right on top/around the leaves. Salt and pepper? You gotta get those yourself, and use them to season the leaves. Next, mix it all up. Taste, adjust seasoning as necessary, and plate it up.

For the focaccia:

I really doubt that I need to tell you how to eat bread. I’m just going to hold this statement as a truth, and not tell you how to eat bread. It’s focaccia, it’s delicious, and it’s in your possession. Enjoy!

Thanks for ordering!
