Rosemary Chicken Salad & Pita

In the chicken salad universe, which is a very real place that we visit sometimes (via the tofu truck, duh), there is always discussion of how to make your chicken salad the best chicken salad ever. And the consensus is this: Shredded chicken is superior. So, we wrote this down in our best-chicken-salad-ever notebook and started testing away! Mayo to chicken ratio is also a very important concept. We use the Goldilocks Method to calculate this for ours: Not too little, not too much. Try it out and let us know what you think 🙂

Total prep time: 1-2 minutes 

What’s in your bag:

  • Your bowl
  • 1 pita pocket

What you’ll need from home:

  • Nothing! Maybe a fork, though? Napkin?

How to prep:

  1. If you like your pita warm, you can toast it however you like! Toaster, air fryer, oven— your call.
  2. Assemble your sando by grabbing lettuce from the top of your bowl, stuffing it in your pita, and then adding in your chicken salad of course. OR… just eat it right outta the bowl, however you like!
