French Dip for Two

$32 | Serves 2 $16 per Serving

Our take on the iconic (not technically French, but definitely very dippable) French Dip sandwich!

Thinly sliced herb-marinated roast beef with caramelized onions and a savory, so-good-you-could-drink-it au jus. This BYO (build your own) experience comes with provolone cheese for melting on top, and 2 garlicky ciabatta rolls to sandwich it all in.

Cabbage slaw with honey mustard dressing and thick-cut salt & vinegar steak fries come on the side. Makes 2 large sandos.

    Tasty and so easy!

This was super tasty and easy to make. A couple of small suggestions though? 1. I thought the fries were going to be salt and vinegar? I could taste neither. They did brown up nicely though and were crispy. 2. Would be great to have the option of swiss cheese? 3. I thought the slaw was a little "onion-heavy" but my husband said A-OK as-is!

    Great sandwich

The sandwiches (with jus dip) were amazing. We were so full from them that neither of us was inspired to try the slaw (not usually my thing anyway). And the fries seemed a little skimpy and got a little dry in the oven but again, it was all about the sandwich. Mmm the buttery garlicky goodness in those rolls!

Super good but the meat was a bit more well than I like usually, but still yummy!

    First French Dip Ever

Delicious meal! I can't believe it was delivered to NH in the middle of yesterday's storm. "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." Who knew WECO follows the postal service motto?! Your delivery beat the USPS and came just after our power returned. Thanks for your tenacity--and our yummy dinner!

PS Fries were outstanding! I cooked them about twice as long as suggested to get them really crispy. Personal preference would be to have no or optional garlic butter instead of already on the roll; it would be crisper when heated. (See the theme here?) Not sure how to do that without additional packaging and I'd rather always have the least possible packaging., so I realize it's tricky. And less onion in slaw and the au juice . But I can serve the meat with most of the onion going to the person in our family who can't get enough onion, so it's not really an issue. (And it might just have been an exceptionally strong onion, because I've never felt that way about your slaw before.:) I understand you are prepping for large numbers of people who all have their own preferences, but since you asked, I thought I'd send my thoughts.
