Chef Daron Goldstein's Pork Chop & Spätzle

The pork chop was dry in spite of following the directions. The Spätzle, beets, and pear were lovely.

What a treat to have a chef dinner at home. The red cider reduction was exquisite; ditto the homemade spatzle. The bechamel so much better than my own. Brilliant sides of poached pear and golden beets. Just heavenly. Thank you so much. We so enjoyed it!

Wonderful!! An excellent meal. The spatula was great, and the pork chop was quite good.

Dish was good overall, although the instructions should have suggested heating the pancetta bits - 20 seconds in the microwave greatly improved them. Pork chops were very nice, pear and golden beets were unusual (and good) choices of side dishes. Spaetzle were very good, although the amount of sauce was excessive (by a factor of 2). Will order this again.

Loved this combination. The pork chopped was well seasoned. The slates easy to make and a lovely side dish. The beets and pear added a brightness to this. I could eat this year round.

Excellent meal - so flavorful. Followed reheat instructions and everything came out moist and tasty. Would certainly order this meal again.

Pork chop was well cooked but not dried out. I’m not a spatzle lover, but it and the sauce were delicious. Loved the variety with this dish - beets, pears, sauce.

This meal was amazing! I loved the combination of the pork chop with the pear and beets. Wonderful combination and the flavors were so complementary to each other. The pork was so tender and seasoned perfectly. The sweetness of drizzle and the saltyness of the pancetta were excellent! I didn’t care for the spatzle (sorry Chef Darren!). I hope this will be on the menu again.

The pork chop was tender. The beets and pear were delicious with the cider reduction sauce. This is one of the best pork chops I have had in a long time.
