The Lo Mein
Stovetop option:
Set your nonstick pan over medium heat. Add a dash of oil and your broccoli. Cook the broccoli for about 3 minutes, until it becomes bright green and tender, then add your steak with hoisin sauce.
Saute for a minute, then add noodles and remaining veggies. Stir and toss for 2-3 more minutes, until snap peas are bright green and tender and everything is hot.
Microwave option:
Place your broccoli in a microwave-safe bowl, add a few tablespoons of water, and cover with a plate or microwave-safe lid. Microwave for about 3 minutes, until the broccoli is bright green and tender.
Drain excess water, then add the noodles, steak with hoisin sauce, veggies and desired amount of sauce to your bowl. Mix to combine.
Cover again and microwave until warmed to your liking.
Grab shallow bowls for serving. Arrange your finished noodles and top with a spoonful of your spicy peanuts. Your egg roll can go on the side! Enjoy :)
Freezing for later? The shaved steak with hoisin BBQ sauce can be frozen for up to 3 months. When ready to eat, thaw in the fridge overnight, then follow the stovetop or microwave instructions above! Your veggies, noodles and egg rolls are best enjoyed fresh.
