This quick & easy dinnertime hero--ahem, gyro--has come along to rescue you from meal prep fatigue. All you need to get this table-ready is a sheet pan, a microwave-safe bowl, and 12 minutes.

Our spin on the classic Greek dish stars shaved sirloin steak and charred peppers & onions that have been tossed in a fragrant, garlicky herb oil. Plus, all the sides & sauces to complete this bountiful spread:

- Hearty farro salad seasoned with preserved lemon, herbs, and a dash of fiery harissa

- Crunchy-zingy cucumber and cherry tomato salad with parsley and shaved red onion

- Creamy smoked eggplant baba ganoush

    Steak gyro very good.

    We love the steak gyros. But would love them even more by increasing the beef to farro ratio. Would be willing to pay for that change.

    We especially like when the tzatziki is made with higher fat yogurt instead of nonfat. Ooooooh, the creaminess! Straightforward enough for the one who doesn’t love cooking to prepare for the one who is in Covid isolation!
