Brittany Dunn is our amazing finance manager. She makes sure all the bills get paid—that our farmers and purveyors are paid on time, that all our awesome employees get paid every week, yada yada yada. Important stuff! And we love her.
Her family is from Puerto Rico and for weeks she’s been telling us about this wonder drink they have around the holidays. It’s called a coquito and it’s a frothy, creamy, delicious drink that is reminiscent of eggnog, but lighter and without the egg. It can be enjoyed with rum or cognac for the adults, or sans booze for the kids. A sweet treat for the whole family!
We’re grateful Britt introduced us to this drink (and, ya know, makes sure we get paid….), and now we’re excited to introduce it to you. Give it a whirly whirl and enjoy!
1 can evaporated milk
1 can coconut milk
1 can condensed milk
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup of rum
No fancy tools needed! Add it all into a large bowl and whisk well. Pop it into the fridge for a few hours, then sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top and go!
