As always, I’d like to start by thanking our WECO fam. Your continued support has grown our business exponentially! Over 1,300 people last week! We had no idea our little kitchen pandemic project would grow to the size of a restaurant on a busy Saturday night. Here are a few things to know about our current situation and the weeks to come: We will officially be operating out of Woods Hill Table as a way to help them break even. This restaurant is expensive to run, and we are lucky to have built a business that will help support them in this hard time. We want them to reopen, when they can, with as little debt as possible from the pandemic. That being said, we will be adding a small charge to cover the cost for Woods Hill Table. We will still continue to only charge for groceries, gas, and our WHT expenses, nothing more. Have no fear, the meal price will still be astoundingly low!
Because of our growth, we need to change several systems for better operation. We will be taking a few days off of cooking next week to revamp the website, hire staff, implement better systems, etc. which means we will only be offering dinner on Friday for last week’s waitlist. The past two months have been a whirlwind, adapting on the fly, and while we have been pretty proud of what we’ve be able to accomplish, we are ready to take the next steps in legitimizing our business.
We hope you understand that for us to better serve you, we need a few days to get our ducks in a row so we can efficiently continue serving you the most tasty eats! Thank you everyone! We are so honored to be a part of a community that truly believes we are stronger together. We couldn’t do what we do without all of YOU! We’ve met so many amazing people through this operation, which has brightened our days in this dark time. We have always dreamed of owning a business, but this one we built on a foundation of individuals coming together as a family, has exceeded all our expectations.
